Louise Multicultural Annual General Meeting

Date:  Wednesday 17th October, 2012

You are all invited to attend the Louise Multicultural Annual General Meeting as we reflect on this financial year (2011/2012) and look ahead to next financial year (2012/2013).

There was a great deal of hard work leading up to AGM, by staff and volunteers alike.  The AGM MC did an excellent job ensuring the meeting was on track, keeping it and the voting running smoothly with a delightful infusion of humour.

Mr Joseph Joulana - guest speaker of AMES - gave a very enlightening talk titled "New and Emerging Communities".  Please refer to the Term 4 newsletter for more details about the AGM meeting content.

In Term 2, the participants had made their creations of table runners, see the previous blog with photos for more details.  All participants enjoy attending the class so much and request the teacher (Judy) to show them more, and Judy is happy to run this class again for this term.

This program works your nimble fingers and allows you to showcase your creativity.

This term participants are learning how to make an oriental squares by hand.  It only takes your time and patience, the final product is very rewarding, you will be proud to show it off to your friends and family.

If you are interested, please come along and join in the fun.  At the same time you will get rewards once you have completed a final product.
