A Multicultural Community Day is an opportunity to celebrate our
diversity and our commitment to mutual respect and to appreciate the
contributions of the various multicultural groups and communities to
Australian society.
The Louise Multicultural Community Centre will hold a Multicultural
Community Dayin conjunction with S.I.X. Event (Strenghtening
Intercultural eXchange) for an open day which is aimed at migrants,
refugees and international students. The purpose of this event is to
raise awareness of cultural diversity among the community, as well as
promoting respect, understanding and tolerance of others.
The Louise Multicultural Community Centre assists migrants and refugees. We teach English and provide other courses and fun activities. We have many wonderful volunteers who help us to do our work.
